How do I Transfer my domain name to DomainSpot?

To transfer your domain name to DomainSpot, you'll need to check the following with your current registrar provider:

1. The domain name must be currently active. Domains in Redemption Status cannot be transferred.
2. The registrar lock for your domain must be turned off. This can be done through your current registrar.
3. The transfer authorization (also known as EPP) code must be obtained from your current registrar.

Once you’re ready to start the transfer to DomainSpot:

• Log into your account and click on the Domains tab.

• Click the orange “Transfer” button on the right-hand portion of the page and click the “Transfer IN” button.
• Enter the domain you would like to transfer in the search box and click the search button. (If you’re transferring in more than one domain, click the “Transferring multiple domains?” link under the search bar.)

• After viewing the summary page click the “Continue” button and click the orange “Check Out” button to continue onto payment. Note: you can optionally submit the authorization code before clicking Check Out. Don’t worry if you don’t have it yet, it can be entered within the account later!
• If you did not submit the authorization code during the purchase process: It can be submitted at any time by clicking on the Domains tab > Transfer > Pending Transfers.
