Configure your email on an iPhone or iPad
To set up your email account on your iPhone or iPad, we recommend these steps:
1. Open the Settings app and tap on Mail
Note: If you're configuring an iPad, see the left hand column.
2. Tap Accounts
iPad users:
3. Tap Add Account
4. Tap Other
5. Tap Add Mail Account
6. Enter the following:
Name: Enter your name, or the name you wish to display (e.g.: Spot The Dog)
Email Address: Enter your Email address (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)
Password: Your case-sensitive password
Description: Enter a description for the account, such as My Email Account, Work, or Home
Then tap Next.
7. Enter the following:
Select IMAP
In the "INCOMING MAIL SERVER" section:
Host Name: mail.domainspot.com
User Name: Enter your complete Email address, in lowercase (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)
Password: Your case-sensitive password
In the "OUTGOING MAIL SERVER" section:
Host Name: mail.domainspot.com
User Name: Enter your complete Email address, in lowercase (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)
Password: Your case-sensitive password
Account Type: IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.domainspot.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.domainspot.com
Then tap Next.
The application will take a few moments to validate the settings...
8. Once validated, enable Mail and tap Save
Congratulations! You deserve a round of apaws. You can now send and receive messages with your custom domain email.
