Windows Thunderbird Configuration Steps:
To set up your email in Thunderbird on a Windows OS, we recommend these steps:
1. Click the Hamburger Menu (☰), then click New
2. Click Existing Mail Account...
3. Enter the following:
Your name: Enter your name, or the name you wish to be seen (example: Spot The Dog)
Email address: Enter your Email address (example: example@youraccountdomain.com)
Password: Your case-sensitive password
Then click Configure manually...
4. Enter the following:
(Note: The Incoming section is on the left hand column, and the Outgoing section is on the right hand column.)
Incoming Protocol: IMAP
Incoming Server: mail.domainspot.com
Incoming Port: 143
Incoming SSL: STARTTLS
Incoming Authentication: Normal password
Incoming Username: Enter your complete Email address, in lowercase (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)
Outgoing Protocol: SMTP
Outgoing Server: mail.domainspot.com
Outgoing Port: 587
Outgoing SSL: STARTTLS
Outgoing Authentication: Normal password
Outgoing Username: Enter your complete Email address, in lowercase (e.g. example@youraccountdomain.com)
Then click Done.
5. The sign-in should occur successfully after a few minutes.
Congratulations! You deserve a round of apaws. You can now send and receive messages with your custom domain email.

Ensure your username and password are correct. Sign into webmail to verify your credentials are valid.

Try alternate ports. Incoming Ports: 143, 993. Outgoing (SMTP) Ports: 465, 587.
