How to configure your Gmail for Android

Gmail Configuration Steps for Android

1.  Open the Gmail app and tap on your profile icon

     Tap Add another account

 

2.  Tap Other

 

3.  Enter your Email address and tap Next (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)

 

 

4.  Tap Personal (IMAP)

 

 

5.  Enter your case-sensitive password and tap Next

 

 

6.  Incoming server settings

     For the Server, enter: mail.domainspot.com and tap Next

 

 

7.  The application will take a few moments to validate the settings...

 

8.  Outgoing server settings

     For the Server, enter: mail.domainspot.com and tap Next

 

 

9.  Gmail will take a few moments to validate the settings...

 

 

10.  Select desired options, ensuring Sync email for this account is clicked.

       Then tap Next.

 

 

11.  Your Name

       Enter your name, or the name you wish to display and tap Next (e.g.: Spot The Dog)

 

 

Congratulations! You deserve a round of apaws. You can now send and receive messages with your custom domain email.
