Configure your email for Outlook in Windows
To set up your email in Outlook on a Windows OS, we recommend these steps:
- Click File in the upper left hand corner
- Click Add Account
- Enter your Email address, then click Advanced Options (e.g.: example@youraccountdomain.com)
- Select Let me set up my account manually. Then click Connect.
- Click the IMAP icon
- Enter the following:
"Incoming mail" section:
Server: mail.domainspot.com
Port: 143
Encryption method: STARTTLS
"Outgoing mail" section:
Server: mail.domainspot.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: STARTTLS
Then click Next.
- Password: Enter your case-sensitive password and click Connect
- Outlook may take a few moments to validate. Once validated, click Done.
Congratulations! You deserve a round of apaws. You can now send and receive messages with your custom domain email.
Having trouble connecting?
- Ensure your username and password are correct. Sign into webmail to verify your credentials are valid.
- Try alternate ports. Incoming Ports: 143, 993. Outgoing (SMTP) Ports: 587, 465.
